Just imagine how cool it would be arriving at your venue in an authentic 1960 Bedford Fire Engine! We can carry up to 14 adults, however 12 is a better maximum for comfort, especially for formal events. Prices vary depending on the pick-up location and Destination, Balls are typically around $300 (one way) Return
from the Ball is usually not available in the Fire Engine, however
there are many Mini Buses, Limos and Taxi Buses that work late. Wedding
hire usually requires the Fire Engine for several hours and the rate is
lower for extended hire, usually around $200 and hour.
Don't be concerned about the weather or keeping your hair in good condition, we roll down the wind/rain shields as required (clear PVC, pic below). Even so, the Fire Engine is not air conditioned, so if it is a hot summer day and you need the covers down to protect your 'hairdo', it will be uncomfortable. The Fire Engine has rain/wind covers, but is not suitable during a road weather alert or a storm, so if the forcast is bleak, you will need to find backup transport. MUSIC ...Our vehicles have rear speakers, and you can supply your own audio CD, (MP3 files on CD discs are ok too), ipod, mp3 files on USB stick/thumb drive or even an SD card.
